Structured, progression-based gymnastics for ages 2–16. Expert coaching at our dedicated ProGym facilities in Wan Chai and Cyberport.
Five-level progression framework from GymTots through Competitive. Coached by sports-degree-qualified, first-aid & CPR/AED-certified coaches. Class minimum: 3 children to run.
Our Approach
Every child at ProActiv follows a clear gymnastics pathway designed to develop strength, coordination, flexibility, and confidence through measurable achievement. Our coaches use a structured progression framework so children — and parents — can see real development at every stage.

Assessment & Placement
New gymnasts begin with a free coach-led assessment at ProGym Wan Chai or ProGym Cyberport — or at any of our partner-school venues. The session looks at age, prior experience, and core movement competencies (balance, coordination, body awareness).
The head coach then recommends a starting level — GymTots, Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced or Competitive — and a class slot. Children with previous experience are matched to the level they are currently working at, not pushed back to the start.
Coaches re-assess on every apparatus throughout each term so progression to the next level is decided objectively, not by age alone.
Programme Levels
Parent/guardian-accompanied movement exploration. Introduction to balance, coordination and confidence-building through playful gymnastics activities.
Foundational gymnastics — basic movements, coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, body awareness and introduction to apparatus. Beginner 1 (3–5), Beginner 2 (6+), and a dedicated Boys Beginner stream.
Skill refinement, progressive difficulty, strength and conditioning, apparatus mastery, flexibility, and the start of routine development on beam, vault and floor.
Mastery of complex skills, advanced training drills and conditioning, full-routine development across every apparatus, and safety/injury-prevention technique.
Elite training for committed athletes targeting regional, national and international competitions. Focus on technique, peak performance, discipline and mental toughness.

Coach Qualifications & Safety
All ProActiv coaches hold at minimum a degree or equivalent in a sports-related field, plus many years of experience coaching children. Every coach has a current First Aid certificate and CPR/AED training.
Coach-to-child ratios are kept tight so every gymnast gets individual feedback in every session — typically around 1:5 for younger groups and a maximum of 1:10 for older groups, with a minimum of 3 children required to run a class.
Continuous in-house CPD ensures coaches stay current on safe progression, modern coaching methods and child safeguarding.
Booking & Payment
A one-time HK$50 registration fee covers admin and one ProActiv uniform. Term fees are paid up-front via Stripe (credit/debit card) or PayNow. Sibling and multi-class discounts may apply — ask our team.
Make-up & Refunds
If a class is cancelled by us (e.g. coach illness), we'll arrange a make-up. Missed classes due to your child's absence: up to 2 make-ups per term if you notify us at least 2 hours in advance. We do not offer cash refunds.
Start with a free assessment so our coaches can recommend the right level for your child. No commitment required.
